Lively legs
I will buy a drink for the person who can guess who the legs belong to (those at the event excluded)!
The photos were taken at the Craigevar Hall Reels event in May, where wild and not-so-wild dancing took place to a live band from 7 pm until midnight. It is part of the Aberdeenshire Reels Club calendar, and we at the Club are prepared and rearing to go, so we usually book a table for these events.
In between, we practise in the Garden room, and if you fancy trying your hand (or legs) at this fun activity, you would be welcome to join us. People of all ages and ability are welcome. It is not difficult, guidance from experienced dancers is readily at hand, and the dress is informal.
As you can see reel dancing helps to maintain shapely legs as well as being a way to meet people and enjoy a nice evening with our friendly group.
We plan to meet at least once a month on a second Wednesday of the month from September onwards. Please contact Claire.wallace@abdn.ac.uk or Clifford.eastmond@btinternet.com if you want to join us.
