Facilities at the Club fulfil the original ideals of the founder members to provide
'a home away from home' where members can dine, relax or entertain friends and
colleagues in a warm and dignified atmosphere.
The Club's busy social calendar also provides many opportunities for members to
sample food and wine from around the world. The Club's private rooms include the
Bar and Smoking Room where members and guests can enjoy a leisurely drink before
lunch or dinner while the Library and Television Room provide a quiet and undisturbed
atmosphere for members to catch up on the news through all manner of newspapers
and journals.
The Billiard Room is popular with many members, especially after
Club functions and dinners, and is the venue for the annual Snooker Quaich competition.
The Library and Reynolds' Room are available to members and out
of town visitors for business meetings and private seminars. Audio visual and
conference facilities are available.
The Club provides pleasant, spacious and inexpensive accommodation within walking
distance of the city centre. Bedrooms have private bathrooms, telephone, television,
Cable television, radio and tea and coffee making facilities.
