The Ballroom Dance class has reached the end of its second set of lessons. Inevitably not every couple have been able to attend each week but all have attended regularly and IF Diane Swan our teacher is to be believed we have all improved noticeably. That could of course be construed as meaning that we were all pretty terrible to start with! The second series focused on the more interesting steps of the quickstep, foxtrot, waltz and in the last few hours even the Cha Cha, Samba and the Tango. Enthusiasm of the group is still remarkable and although it has come to a halt for now so that more outdoor pursuits can be followed over the spring and summer months we may start again in the autumn. Anyone interested to should keep an eye on this space.
